"I was praying while being a little frustrated and confused, asking God if He had changed His mind about the success I had thought I would have in the music industry. I saw myself singing with Toby Mac and going on tours, encouraging people around the world to keep believing and dreaming through the messages in my music. I wondered if I had missed my chance or overlooked a promise so I asked God where I was and what’s really going on. The next thought that came to me had to be from heaven because I could not have made such an in-depth assessment without divine reflection. The thought was simple: if I allowed the call to come today, would I be ready? With humble reflection, I knew the answer was 'NO'.
